Rabbi Mendel
Rabbi Mendel was born and raised in Brooklyn and received his Semicha (rabbinic ordination) in Israel. Since 2010, he has worked in a variety of communities—including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Israel—developing educational programs, leading services, and engaging individuals and families in Jewish life.
From an early age, he was taught that being there for another Jew is at the heart of what it means to be part of the Jewish people. His approachable manner and genuine care make him someone people naturally connect with.
Esty
Esty grew up in Brooklyn, where her parents established a Chabad House building a thriving Jewish community for Russian-speaking families. Community life was always central to her upbringing, and from a young age she was involved in programs that brought people together around Jewish learning and celebration. She holds a Master’s degree in General and Special Education, and now combines her love for teaching with her dedication to Jewish community, bringing warmth and creativity to every program she leads.
Their passion for this work comes from a genuine belief in the value of Jewish life and community. They are driven by a sense of responsibility and purpose—to create opportunities for connection, learning, and meaningful Jewish experiences for people of all backgrounds.
